The Road
9/26/09
St Stephens & St. Agnes Homecoming Festival
(hey, you take gigs where you can get 'em!)

Big RR Blues
Mama Tried
Revolution
Women Are Smarter
The Joker

Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You >
She Came in through the Bathroom Window >
Bertha
Beast of Burden
Driver 8
Breakdown >
Watchtower >
Franklin's Tower
Good People
Lay Down Sally

This was a last-minute thing, but was surprised at the number of Heads there were. I guess it's not a huge surprise, as Tipper Gore went to St Agnes back in the day...

It was a personal triumph of sorts for me, as I finally got to play out with the rig I've been putting together over the last year... MC400 > rack w/GCX (via Hogan) w/OC2 > Emma > Dist+ (via Hogan) > Keeley 808 > Phase 90 > DD3 > modded Twin preamp out (via jonarobb) > Mosvalve power amp > cab loaded w/2 E120s (via jonarobb). All I can say is I'm super happy with the sound I'm getting - took a while to dial in to the right sound for the band, but I'm ecstatic with the results. Now, I've got to get the guitar modded w/the Super II's and Waldo's buffer and I'll be good to go (except for the mods necessary to my left hand :? )!
Seems like I've been here before...

It is strong evidence of Pappy's never ending anal-retentiveness in full gear.

Hey Gang,
I don't have the setlist, but I caught Tigerstrats band "Ramblin' Rose" a few nights ago, playing a JGB Tribute that really kicked ass!
TS put together a stellar lineup on drums/bass/B3/female_vox, and did a fine job himself.
The sound out front was really "concert-ee". Everything sounded really good in the mains. The B3 and the kick drum sounded really good to me.
I thought the jam on Don't Let Go was the high point of the night for me.
I even got to do some bone-shakin' of my own on a coupla tunes.
TS, maybe you can post the setlist?
That was a great show!
Cool,
Pete B.

ps
Uhhh... Sorry for fucking up on the video duty. I couldn't see jack through the view finder. Sorry if that was a total loss.

I've got a monitor SBD, but it's a pretty rough mix; will have to see if there's anything I can do to pretty it up.

Wake of the Flood: An Acoustic Tribute To The Grateful Dead
10/17/09, Grandpa Eddie's- Richmond VA

Minglewood Blues
Mississippi Half Step Uptown Toodeloo
* Loser
# Sittin' Here In Limbo
Jack Straw
Don't Ease Me In
Brown Eyed Women
New Speedway Boogie> The Other One> Eyes of the World> New Speedway Boogie
I Know You Rider
My Sisters And Brothers

* Ryan breaks a string towards the end of the song. After a second of turbulence, Steve and Will bring the thing under control and slow it to a stop.

# This song has never been played by WOTF and was never rehearsed. It's Will, Eva, and Steve, while Ryan changed a broken string. Only Will plays it with any frequency for solo shows, but Steve and Eva brought it on this one and made it incredible!
