Cassette Tapes?

Cassette Tapes?

Postby jck_strw » Sat Mar 17, 2007 11:43 am

Does anyone still listen to cassette tapes anymore? I'm cleaning out a bunch of stuff and I have about 50 tapes and I don't want to throw them away. I'd like to find a good home for them if possible.

Here's a quick rundown of what I have:

11-19-66
11-29-66
10-12-68
2-28-69
3-1-69
4-27-69
2-13-70
5-1-70
5-2-70
5-15-70
2-18-71
5-11-72
8-27-72
2-9-73
Ace's Rehearsal '75 (I call this the pot smoking tape)
6-14-76
5-7-77
5-8-77
5-9-77
11-6-77
4-11-78
7-7/8-78
12-31-78
4-18-82
4-27-85
9-15-85
4-13-86
3-30-88
10-9-89
9-10-91
6-19-94

It would be great if I can unload all these at once, but if there's no interest (and there's interest in single stuff) I can do that.

If anyone is interested, send a PM.

Approx 400+ GD/JGB Tapes

Postby daveny29 » Sun Mar 18, 2007 12:22 pm

I have 400 - 500 GD / JGB tapes that need a good home.

I don't have a list readily available, but I would say 50% of the tapes are from 88' - 94', which were pretty much the years that I toured.

Lots of soundboards. 90% of my tapes are XLII & XLII-S, so they are the durable ones, and have survived the years of storage

I live within 20 minutes of Seattle.

Happy to work out just about anything to find them a good home.

Would even be willing to pay 50% of shipping for someone that's not local.

I would estimate the weight to be around 85lbs, and would expect UPS would probably charge around $80 for shipping, but I'd have to go to UPS to get the exact figure.

Anyone interested, please let me know.

I still listen to tapes, I'd did so many mixed song tapes over the years. Still have a lot of them.
