Someone got a great deal! I was stuck in a meeting and couldn't bid.

Bummer. Out of curiosity, how high were you willing to go for it?

To me it seemed nobody was bidding. I was hoping to get it for $150. I'm dying to hear my Taylor through the SMS with a Black Box. I also have a little crappy Yale Reverb & would love to try it with that.

I would have certainly bid 150. I'm very curious about this box... Just not 300 curious.

No, I didn't get it. Didn't even see the auction, but I might have gone as high as $200 with shipping. I'm with you, I'm intrigued but not at $300. Mostly because I don't have a need for one. If I played amplified acoustics I would probably already have one!

Amplified acoustic? What does that have to do with it? The unit makes my electric(s) pop. It's basically a variable UGB.

You're right...I don't know...$300 still seems a little high for an "awesomeness" pedal. Maybe I just need more people raving about it so I can fall for the "hype" and open my wallet. Yeah, I'm kind of shallow.

What's your signal chain typically look like?
