abraxa28 wrote:Thanks for the info. I almost was able to buy a k-120 off of a board member here...but he ended up selling both he had on Saturday . So I am still looking. I saw a D-120 on e-bay that was in my price range; however, the dome is stamped WHF5100 which i beleive is a recone. Does anyone have any info on the recone? Is it still worth buying. He is asking $188 and the auction ends in a few hours, If anyone has any info on a recone stamped with WHF5100 I would greatly appreciate it, and if anyone knows of a good reasonably priced d-120 or k-120 I would be forever in debt!!
I figured most of these speakers would be recones; however, I know that not all are created equal (if that makes any sense). I figured out that the stamp on the aluminum cap Whf5100 means Waldom Hi Fidelity (recone) I think.
