How do I put music from iTunes onto my ipod shuffle?

I already have itunes on my computer, but I just can't seem to put them on the ipod itself.

Connect iPod to computer. Open iTunes. You'll see your iPod show up as a device in the list on the left side. Open your music library, select what you want to transfer and just drag it on top of the iPod in the list on the left. It will copy what you drag as long as there is enough room.
