Tab Creator General Uses

At the top of the page is a large table, 21 columns long, by 6 rows. This represents the fretboard. Along the far left I've shown which Guitar String each row represents (E,A,D,G,B,E - from the bottom to the top).

To use this, simply run your mouse over the table. As you move through each cell, the cell should highlight to yellow.

To add a note to your tab, click on the cell that has the note you wish to play. You will see your note print out in the text box in the bottom.

When you are done creating your notes, you can cut and paste this into a tab site, or for your own personal use.

Sorry all, and thanks for the tip. I have to update this Bulletin Board more than my Windows Computer! Anyhow, I forgot to fix this link when I updated it, but its back now...

In your spare time :), how about adding a 0 fret right before the 1? That would make this the perfect tool.

Sometimes it more painful to begin coding than actually doing the work! However, I have added the fabled "0" fret to tabcreator. Check it out and let me know if its working for you...

I had heard the quote first from Bill Graham/Winterland wall, etc. Then I found the quote online attributed to Jerry (same link that phpbb posted). I looked around some more and found a couple of sources that attributed it to Jerry. But now, I'm not so sure. Jerry was very well spoken and always had some really great quotes. I'll search out another, indisputable one.
