I see what you mean! He was very drunk... I just got down listening to the recording and he couldn't even countdown to midnight properly.

Hopkins finest moment when working with Jerry came on Reflections for me, listen to his playing on Tore Up Over You and I'll Take A Melody. He was a brilliant player, even better than Keith was. But he was messed by the time he worked with Jerry, too far down the track to stay on board for long. If he only he got him in the late 60's. Look at all the sessions he did. Great talent.
