same rockin' progression from two different songs

Postby BuddhaG » Tue Nov 04, 2008 5:44 pm

hey guys... was just listening to 11-8-1970 version of Good Lovin' and noticed something very neat about the first theme the boys jam on after the drum break. i was thinkin... damn these guys are rockin it hard when i realized the progression that bob was leading them through was the very same one from our beloved 8-6-71 hard to handle. i assume it is in the key of C instead of B though.

please someone take a listen and tell me if i am crazy :)

happy election night all. time for some change, so put in your energy for the light side.

Nope you ain't crazy, that's the HTH jam, 'cept that's the same jam they always did in HTH, not limited to the 8-6-71 version.

You may also notice that Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the Alphabet Song are the same tune as well.
There are only two mantras. Yum and yuk. Mine's yum.
