Brewgrass '06

I know there are a few members of RUKIND that reside here in Ks. Any of you guys catch Brewgrass yesterday?

I was pretty upset to learn Honkey Tonk Homeslice was a no show, but Keller really made up for it. I love his cover of Till the Morning Comes.

Anyway...It's only the second year of the festival. Last year was good, but it was just a buncha local bluegrass bands. This year was Keller Williams, War, Oteil Burdridge, almost Honkey Tonk Homeslice. Can't wait for next years.

Just wanted to get that off my chest.

yea man it was pretty cool... sucked that the beers were 5 bucks each... also took me like a full 10 minuites to find somebody with a wristband who'd buy me one

did they ever give any specific reason why honkey tonk homeslice didnt show?

as keller said, family issues. thats all i know.

but yeah, 5 bucks a drink is ridiculous.

thats why i love festivals and concerts with large followings (show to show followings) because the vendors in the lot never ID.
