Thanks Jonny! I'll try to get my wife to do some singing next week. I sometimes wonder about listening to stuff I played is that I hear all the little tweaks and fuck-ups but when I listen to other's recordings who say the same things about their playing and singing I don't hear it as much or at least it's not as annoying. It's all a matter of perspective.
I guess it's about finding that balance of being self critical that keeps you pushing to do better and not so much that you lean your guitar against the wall and throw rocks at it
Anyway, it's fun to do and that's what really matters
If anyone has their own home studio we should do a group project and just send tracks back and forth and see what turns out. I use Logic for my recording software. Does anyone out there have any multitrack recordings of any studio Dead stuff? I have a buddy was an engineer in some big studios in NYC and got a hold of a couple of old Marvin Gaye songs with all the separate tracks it was cool to mess with.http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?type=2&campid=5335901301&toolid=10001&customid=forum&ext=&item=
