Battle of the bands 1st place!

Postby Counterstriker » Mon Feb 20, 2012 8:35 am

My band played a show, which my drummer had family emergencies, so my dad sat in. We ended up winning first place out of 8 bands! They played all heavy metal, we played some beatles, stevie wonder and of course the dead! Shakedown street won the crowd over, which was mostly high school kids which surprised me!https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=3494469845577&set=vb.124791144204068&type=2&theater

Oh whoops! Thanks ebick, though i put the link but it wasn't a good one. That was our second round song.

Check out our new vocals voice here:
First round of the battle

So I tuned right before going on stage and didn't even realize that my low e string was WAY FLAT, until the last chord in the first round..

All other bands, played punk rock hard core stuff, which I'm not to fond of, people who never even heard of the dead were dancing to shakedown! It was a good feeling
