BC Rich? Is this just wrong?

OK... tell me I am not crazy. Is it only me that thinks the BC Rich Eagle is a really nice looking guitar/bass shape? The American-made models are neck thru and made from choice woods. I don't know a thing about their electronics but they seem to be mostly used by high gain/maximum sustain type players. Has anyone ever played a nice BC Rich? Of course, I draw the line at this model and could never consider a Mockingbird or Warlock- too metal! BTW... I am not shopping for one, just discussing. OK... discuss!

I had a buddy in high school back in the early 80s that had one of those double necks. It was a sweet guitar, played and sounded great - very heavy from what I remember. He played a lot of fusion stuff on it and it seemed to work well for that.

I think those are awesome guitars. I played an eagle once, it was too pricey for me, but great tone and sustain. I use a Fender superstrat with a classic look, and modded for a classic sound. So, I like the necks of a heavy metal guitar, It seems like I get greater speed on my solo's. My band plays a lot of blues fusion and I also lean on SRV and Hendirx as inspirations in a lot of tunes, so some of my play is overdriven and faster at times. I would bet you can get some smokin' 70's Garcia out of those.
