no matter how much people discourage you, tell you that you're wrong when you're right, put you down, call you names, talk in circular logic, twist your words to make themselves look better, display blatant egomania, you CANNOT lose sight of your goals. In the end, all of the hard work pays off. if you are genuine, sincere, give 110% all of the time, good things will come. well, in my case that's what happened

Yhea, is this LAZYLIGHTNING?? I remember back to the band name debacle.... Otherwise there is another Dead Ahead in Ohio... Cool Story, It is always fun to play with famous people. It helps on the resume or when you tell people you are in a band to take you seriously.
Congrats ! TC is cool about playing with local talent...

Great musician and a great guy - the ultimate gentleman-artist personified.

Yeah, he's been making the rounds. Met him when I worked the show he did with JK in DC for the National :D -In last spring and again a couple of months ago when he played with another buddy's local band for three shows. Seems to be doing a lot of this, which is very cool for everybody on the scene who would like to play with him for whatever reason.

Nice to see TC out there playing with some regularity!

(Man, some folks sure do hold onto grudges, don't they? )
Seems like I've been here before...

Shoot, I'd pay TC $500 to play with us. It would make a great memory. Heck, the closest I've come to playing with someone who actually played in the Grateful Dead was a couple of times Robin Sylvester sat in with us.

Hell, $50 & a case of Old Swill to see Jonnyboy in a spandex suit and viking helmet would be worth it

Saw him a few times with local bands years back and I seem to recall him saying, "I don't do the new stuff" after a request for a later 70s songs?!

But I'm guessing he knows some now!
