Not sure if they ever covered these but I would have liked to hear Keep on Truckin by Hot Tuna, Oh Atlanta by Little Feat and On The Road Again by Canned Heat. Seems like they could have got into some serious jam possibilities.

Always wanted to see Jer cover "Honky Cat" by Elton John...thought he could have sung the shit out of it. Always pictured him singing the "oh, change is gonna do me good" part with gusto :-) . Thought Brent would do the piano part really cool on it too, but I could see them screwing up the groove though.

that would be cool - "Social Disease" would be another cool EJ tune to cover

Another great EJ song Jer would have nailed would be the "Border song"... that would definitely be in the JGB instead of the dead though. Defintely could have seen 91-93 era JGB tackling this.
Big gospel vibe with Melvin on the haunting B3 and gloria and Jackie doing the "holy moses.........and "Hes my brother......." parts
would have been awesome!

LOL - I can hear it with a Cats Down Under the Stars type arrangement

Simon and Garfunkels ; "I am a Rock"
Although maybe a better fit for JGB. Maybe I am bringing that to Legion!

Also GD doing Sounds of Silence would be fantastic!

'Ow 'bout Fire On The Mountain The Marshall Tucker Band -:-)
Just thinkin out loud so to speak,
I like acoustic dead so I am thinkin something like Indigo Girls or Melissa Etheridge maybe one of the pop-y tunes from those chicks or some other acoustic centered song, Bob can do it as an encore.

Did the Dead do a doors tune? I cannot remember.

The clash Should I stay or should i go as a set opener. Whoot.

How about 'a boy named sue' J.Cash. I like.
