for those of you who would like to learn some bluegrass here's a good starting point.

I almost never use a pick. I've found that finger picking provides for a much more dynamic sound as well as complex arrpegios.

this is a basic bluegrass pattern in C

notes: you'll be picking the top 2 strings of each chord with your thumb. the second from the bottom with your index finger. and the bottom most with your middle finger.

don't play full barre chords, play the alternating bass notes with your ring finger so that they stand out individually.

this requires a fair amount of practice, but it's well worth it, so without furthure adu
