Vote - Jerry's Best Riffs...Your Favourite?

Postby Shaggy » Sun Dec 25, 2005 11:15 am

In a follow up the thread i made about Jerry's best intro and general riffs i am now making a poll to decide what is our favourite one. I tried to make it a poll but that wouldn't allow enough options so I am doing it this way.

By the way there are 20 songs and they are all written by jerry. So if you pick your favourite by naming the number or song name we can keep a count as we go. So in no order at all:

1 - Here Comes Sunshine
2 - Might As Well
3 - China Cat Sunflower
4 - Althea
5 - Ship of Fools
6 - Scarlet Begonias
7 - Help On The Way/Slipknot
8 - St. Stephen
9 - Valerie
10 - New Speedway Boogie
11 - Tennesse Jed
12 - Rhapsody in Red
13 - Til The Morning Comes
14 - Birdsong
15 - Black Peter
16 - West La Fadeaway
17 - US Blues
18 - If I had The World To Give
19 - Shakedown Street
20 - Terrapin Station

I know there are other great ones, but its a case of where to draw the line!?

Bird song for me.

Even though Jer Bear didnt write it, I think he has the best riffs in Me & My Uncle.

I'd have to go with Help on the Way/Slipknot. And not just because it's a two for one.

Hey Stefan, what is this? GDPC? You're not a real deadhead unless you like them all equally? I've got friends who don't even like all their KIDS equally!

Well deadheads can also be as fussy as they come and demanding about the songs they like and dislike, just ask Robert Hunter!
