The Jayhawks

Anyone here into the band the Jayhawks? They have gone a bit quiet at the moment but are a great band. Been around sicne the 80's, Alt country/Americana style you know.

Hollywood Town Hall is one of my favourite albums of all time, and Gary Louris is one hell of a guitarist.

Smile and Mr. Wilson are two most excellent songs.

I think so, yes. That was off Hollywood Town Hall, as was Settled Down Like Rain which did the rounds on MTV for a long time back them. Lately or a couple of years ago their last album Rainy day Music got a bit of airplay, the single Save It For A Rainy Day did alright i beleive.

Good catchy original songs, good vocal blend and terrific instrumental work by this band over the years. Louris lead guitar work is something ive always found exciting.
