So I got the "condensed" version of the Fillmore West shows from 1969. Great great stuff! If you like the "rawer" sound of the early Dead this is a great way to go. Very experimental things going on then. On the bouns disc the second song after Caution is He was a Friend of Mine, a shorter version of the full song called Just a Hand to Hold. I have heard versions of this before but I think this one takes the cake. So to my question, anyone know how this goes? Chords, scales etc.? I am going to try to figure it out myself but a little help would be much 'ppreciated.Did I mention that this was a great album? Powerful stuff.
Truckin' in style along the avenue.....
