Two Great vids from Canada 1970

Found a couple of cool vids on youtube. Have pig and mickey. . Tie dyed fenders. The first one, don't ease, is from the seemingly acoustic first set. Cool vids from an era where little video exists.

Ever seen Festival Express? These are from footage from exactly that, a travelling festival, and with it being in Canada and featuring a number of popular Canadian acts as well as Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead played what seems to be mostly short afternoon sets, the lists and orders of which are uncertain. The footage included in the film and bonus DVD may just be the only recordings of their sets on this landmark train tour. By all means everybody should check this one out, its alot of fun to watch. My fave is the Cold Jordan...

7/3/70 appears to have been "wear your purple shirt day"

Plus there's an extremely wasted Rick Danko singing Ain't No More Cane with Janis, Bobby and Jerry on the train that's hilarious.

OK gotcha, its festival express which I have not seen, yet, its obviously on the list.

Classic early footage. Jerry wearing tie dye! Bobby looking like a kid. Looking forward to seeing this movie.
