Never saw it before (I don't think). Hysterical! Notice, Jerry is simply playing Tiger.

Love the studded collar on Bobby's duck...that duck really knows how to party. :drink:

I wonder why Bobby didn't pursue an acting career after this...?

But seriously, Phil is super creepy as the MC.

Yeah, I remember seeing this video on MTV a few times. There was also a video for Throwing Stones, where Phil is briefly playing a six string bass with the same body shape as Tiger and Rosebud. Was that another Doug Irwin instrument?

For what's it worth, there was also a video for Foolish Heart, which I remember seeing the premiere on MTV. And I think there were also videos for We Can Run and I think Just A Little Light, but I don't think I ever saw either video on MTV. I might have seen one or the other on VH-1 a little later, and I think I saw Just A Little Light on PBS, just after Jerry died (for some reason I'm remembering it being shown at the same time as they showed Dead Ahead, with the hosts apologizing during every pledge break for showing a Grateful Dead concert so soon after Jerry died..."Oh, we planned this a year ago, we didn't mean to exploit Jerry Garcia's death", yada yada yada.

Wow. I don't even know what to say about that I wanna live in America Bobby vid.. Looks like Daryl Hall and John Oates guest appearances. The guy on the sax has to be Dan Foutes doppleganger. That was, wow. :P

I hope he breaks that one out at Mishawaka Ampitheater on June 3!! My first Bobby acoustic show!! Splurged and went VIP since I'm taking wifey. Seen the Grateful Dead, the Dead, Further and just about every other combo, but my first Bobby acoustic!!

I'm sorry to double post here. I guess I'm just absolutely mesmerized by that video I want to live in America video. I've never seen anything like that, I almost wish I hadn't watched it. I mean, I really dig Bobby, and the more I learn about rhythm guitar the more I understand just how important he was to the GD sound. IMHO he is totally underrated. Now, that being said, that video is hilarious! And, if you really need to laugh, read the comments on YouTube by the viewers. Tcsned- I don't know whether to thank you or be pissed at you for the link. Damn, that video is deserving of a thread all it's own.

LOL, yes Bobby could be a real HAM! Even at a show sometimes when he would over do it with the screaming, I would be thinking... shut the fuck up BOB!
