Fun article. You gotta read the letters from the fans. Takes me back to when people actually wrote letters!!!

FWIW--all the shows I saw in Summer of 86 were (as far as sound goes) below par. The actual playing wasn't all that hot either. Dylan was especially abyssmal.
Definitely not one of their better runs.

I went to one Dead/Dylan/Petty show at RFK on DC and it was the worst Dead show I went to. Sound and performance both godawful. :-x
