I think they also used Beyers for a while in there.
These days I highly recommend the Telefunken M80s. Further is using them as well as a lot of others. I have several for my location recording business and they have cleaned up the sound of everything considerably. Not only do the vocals require less processing to sound good than typical vocal mics, the leakage is also very good, making the whole recording much less muddy and washy.
