$7500? I could be off base, but it seems to me I've seen that number w/ regards to his guitars.

Drop Scott a line off his website ... http://scottwalkerguitars.com or on Facebook, he responds promptly.

A Walker Special with "anything you want" as far as woods, electronics, chambers, inlays, etc. lists at $4500 or so.

From the man himself:

"Basically everything is $4750, give or take a bit on woods, and inlays and electronics. The new Ebony Phantom is $6500 because of woods and inlays. "

I'd venture to guess that by using Maple and Ebony, the two hardest, densest, non-resonent, woods available, that this is a very trebily guitar with little low and mid response, and sharp high-mids and picky highs. Ebony is not considerd a body tone-wood, but is the choice for fretboards for those seeking a brighter tone. Cool look, probably not a balanced tone. Anyone corroborate my hunch?
