Macki VS QSC powered speakers

Not sure when they moved to China. Probably around the time that Loud Technologies bought them. Loud Technologies likes to buy up US companies and drastically reduce manufacturing costs. They destroyed the Ampeg brand. Loud Tech is a profit, venture capital firm, not a music gear firm. It's sad what they do.

Kempton seems to be a new company having cabs built in the Italian factory at reasonable prices. Any one heard about these? I have to agree that the QSC's (now that I am in the market) are the best still. They just have everything one could want feature wise, and 1000 watt amps standard. I believe 10" pairs and a sub could pull off a gig in a small bar easily, but I don't have experience with that. The 12" seem to be the overall value to get additional low end.
