Never understood the concept of having the buckle device on those straps. My guess is that the buckle snaps apart when there is too much tension in order to prevent damage to the guitar? But is that really a huge problem?

I think for locking straps that lock to the guitar, it is easier to use the buckle. I could find that a usable feature when I tuck my wires through my strap to keep my big feet from pulling them out violently and usually at the worst time.

Here's my question: any of you guys ever actually own one of these Wand straps? High quality (i.e. it's not going to fall apart in 3 months)?

a little rich for my blood too, but less than I thought it would go for! I guessed about $300 when it hit about $100 its first day. Congrats to the new owner. JD- lost many a thing on the bay due to my brain's lack of multitasking skills.

That should inspire the original maker of the strap to make more.

Mark Karan gave me his Wand strap that I think he got from the GD warehouse. I love the strap. Very durable and nothing like the knock off ones. The padding is thicker, denser with real leather. Those buckles never come apart. It's a great strap. $201 bucks tho?,.. I don't think so. I KNOW SOMEONE HERE BOUGHT IT!! VIC?

I paid $50 right off the Guitar Center rack for the cushy leather strap I use with my 13lb bass.... so this was only the price of four of those.

Dozin, you know Mark Karan? That's freaking cool, how'd you hook that up?
