Picked up this Boogie clone today on Craigslist

$300 It's literally a perfect clone inside of a Mark I. All components in the chassis are Sprague and Cornell Dublier. Schumacher trannies, the whole nine yards. Never heard of Mitchell but upon doing an internet search I found that Mesa Boogie sued him immediately in 1978 and shut down his amp operation. It's uncanny how sweet this thing sounds. And with a Gauss speaker to boot.

Wicked score Jon. *squinting* Is that some sort of narrow GEQ on the front panel?

And a really lovely old Gauss. The cone on this speaker is butter. Has the crisp yet compressed sound of a K120 with same efficient power handling. I've run this thing full out in the 100 watt setting and the Gausss didn't give an inch. Very cool response. Another good high powered favorite from the glory days of USA speakers....

What a great buy...lucky dog! That speaker is almost worth what you paid for the whole amp. Enjoy!
