"Jerry isn't a good example of 'typical' guitar tones from a Bean. He had lots of customizations and uniqueness for his guitars.

For example, his TB500s were one of the first prototype 500s (first 10 were a different style and neck). His TB500 #11 and #12 both have 3 pickups vs. the standard 2. He also was a fan of coil spliters, phase selections, etc. With #11 and #12, you can see his toggles that he had. It was probably to activate any sequence of pickup configurations. Also, you'll notice two jacks, for stereo out.

His artist was originally #51 you can see the body (which is all that's left), he tried to hire a luthier to put an additional middle pickup and that failed miserably. He sent it back to the shop, where we think they gave him TB1000A #715. He also modified this bean by adding a possible phase switch? Also, you'll notice that the pickups in that guitar are actually single coils. It's a mystery about those particular pickups, since you see 'TRAVIS BEAN' on the bridge pickup top. Could have had the casings removed? Who knows.

All of these guitars are in the database with photos."

Sounds like he is mostly just speculating about the electronics. Of course, we know that the 2nd jack on Jerry's TB500 is a loop insert, not one side of a stereo output.
