Not my lefty ... LOL ... a friend over on Gearheads is selling his which was made at the same time mine was ... his is an exact replica, beautiful piece. Won't be cheap, but hey ... instant gratification!

You can email John over at Gearheads ... I'm not sure what he's asking but I know his was a lot more expensive than mine to build, he has the incredibly inlays on the back, the brass binding, handmade tailpiece, the works ... it's a work of art.

Hey Vic,
Ruk's had all the cosmetic embelishments also. Its a sweet guitar. If it has the same tonal characteristics as your, its a steal at any price.

I know that they have made some tiger replicas for $11,000 - I don't know if this is one of those though.

i am sure ruk knows it is not an exact replica.there are a number of things that are not precise.

1.)the neck joint is missing a piece that is on the real tiger.
2.) the brass inlay around the pickup ring is off on the controls side.
3.) jerrys tiger tailpiece is not solid brass.
4.) the jackplate has a slight curve on the bottom.
5.) the tiger plate on the original tiger actually goes in the guitar and not on it. it is maybe a 1/2 inch thick or a little less/more.
6.) lastly, i am sure it has the resurrection nub where the neck meets the headstock and not the laminated back like the original or how alembic does there axes.

and i am sure the electronics are close but not exact also.

not that i am knocking ruk's awesome piece of work, just laying out the facts on just how exact it is. knowing ruk he is kicking himself for even considering letting it go, but i bet he has something even better he has his eyes on. all in all it probably is one hell of an instrument and someone is going to be very happy with it.

Thats Alembic im pretty sure. Like playingdead said its prolly around 5000
