Thanks for the input. I am not trying to totally nail jerry's sound at the moment, I want to find my own. I have gotten so much info from you guys on how to get there. The amp I have has 2 knobs, volume and tone. I will consider one 12, but I won't be playing out any time soon so cutting the bass response might be a good idea living in an apartment complex. Besides I can always try a new configuration if it doesn't work out. I just wanted to add one more thing, I honestly believe it is not the gear that makes the tone it's the player. I have learned the simplest clearest signal path always seems to sound the best.

But back to the thread at hand, Let's see those Jerry rigs!!

Just wanted to comment on your sound, Pappy...

I love it. Not "pure" Jerry tone or phrasing, but your very own with nods to the Big Guy as a basis. Basing this on the Help/Slip/Frank sequence from your vids.

I also think lots of what you do is rooted in your being the single guitarist, so you adjust accordingly... with fantastic results.
