Jerrys riff in the end - tab

Jerrys riff in the end - tab

he used this frequently in later versions of the song, circa 90-91ish

i.e. http://youtube.com/watch?v=Rmc22-kpit8 (at the end)

starts off with a b major arpegio

--11-----------------------------------------------------
-----12-------14--12--11--12----11-----------------------
--------11--------------------------13--11--13-----------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------

(the following may be wrong but thats as close as I can get it)
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------8---------8--8h9--------------------------
--------9--11-----9--11-----------11---------------------
--9--11--------------------------------------------------

repeat...

Jerry would also throw in chords after the first arpeggio part

something like

E B F# E
---16---14---14---12-------------------------------------
---17---16---14---12-------------------------------------
---16---16---15---13-------------------------------------
---18---16---16---14-------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------

Wow, great stuff caspersvapors!!! I think you got the 2nd part right, but I'd just play it right down near the first part like this:

|----------------------------------------------
|-----------------11---------11--11--12--------
|----------11--13-----11--13------------13-----
|---11--13-------------------------------------
|----------------------------------------------
|----------------------------------------------

Thanks for figuring that out though, I've always wanted to and never got around to it. Kick ass!

Beating u in fantasy also kicks ass Shakedown.

I thought I was toast this week with TO and Witten on the bench and Ronnie Brown out for the year.

Aww man, my team sucks this year. Too many injuries. So what's going on w/ the prizes? Haven't seen too many folks pony up some offers. Hmmm.

But hey, at least Randy Moss is a stud. Go Pats!!!

Just spent some time on the black and white you tube...

This looks and sounds correct. Trying to get the 4 strings in would be next to impossible; there is no F# here, and Jerry liked plain old triads, which these are.

after watching the video i just posted I have to revise my second part of the riff.

this is WRONG:

---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------8---------8--8h9--------------------------
--------9--11-----9--11-----------11---------------------
--9--11--------------------------------------------------

its actually an E arpeggio with some B major thrown it at the end

---------------------------------------------------------
------------------9----9---12---11--11h12---9--------
---------------9-----------------------------------------
------------9--------------------------------------------
-----7s11------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------

of course he threw in a little variation everytime but thats the basic gist of it
